Sophie and Arliss are a bonded pair looking for their forever home together.
Their lives changed forever when their owner passed away. Sadly, family members felt they were too expensive to keep and surrendered them to a shelter our rescue works closely with. After spending over a month at the shelter, they were completely overlooked—no applications, no interest, not even a chance.
We couldn’t let their story end there!
Sophie and Arliss are now safely in our rescue, loved, and waiting for the ideal home they truly deserve. These two have already lost everything once—let’s not make them wait any longer for someone to see how special they are.
About Sophie & Arliss:
• Arliss is the little white boy and just turned 10 years old
• Sophie is 11 years old
• Don’t let their ages fool you—Shih Tzus often live 17–20 years, and these two are playful, sweet, and full of life
• 100% potty trained
• All vetting up to date
• Arliss recently had a major dental in our care and now has 8 teeth—he’s doing great and his breath smells so much better!

• Up to date on vaccines
• Microchipped
• Come with beds, blankets, harnesses, leashes, coats, and current food
