Meet Ripley
Ripley is a sweet, smart, and petite 2-year-old girl who currently weighs 17 lbs and is still growing into her best self. She came to rescue after being surrendered for medical reasons, but those issues have been lovingly taken care of, and she’s feeling great now!
Ripley is the kind of dog who steals hearts without even trying. She is incredibly sweet, very smart, and already showing off her training skills. She loves learning and catching on quickly. She’s got just the right amount of sass to keep things fun and interesting, making her a joy to be around. Her favorite things, in perfect order, are food, bones, and then her beloved humans, though don’t worry, once she’s fed, you’re absolutely her world.
Ripley is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and has also had palate and nares surgery, so she’s ready to head straight into her forever home. She does have a sensitive tummy, so she’ll need to stay on her prescription diet and probiotic long-term, which helps her feel her best. In return, she offers endless affection. Ripley also has an eye condition that makes her more susceptible to developing ulcers. Because of this, she may need to be on eye ointment long-term, and she will need a follow-up eye recheck in February. Her future family should be comfortable keeping an eye on her eye health and following veterinary recommendations.
She’s crate trained and loves to snooze in her safe space, making her an easy fit for a home that values routine and comfort. Ripley is mostly dog-friendly, but she knows what she likes. She does best with passive dogs who are happy to let her take the lead. She has a confident, in charge personality when it comes to other dogs, so a laid-back canine companion is ideal. She’d also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. Ripley is kid-friendly, too but due to her wanting to eat things she shouldn’t- older children would be best for her health wise.
Because she has a history of eating things she’s not supposed to, she’ll thrive in a tidy home where curious noses won’t find trouble. For this reason, she should not have access to soft toys unless she is closely supervised.
Ripley is about 75% potty trained and improving every day. She’s eager to learn and wants to make her people proud. With a little consistency and love, she’ll be a star in no time plus warm weather will help as well.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion with a big heart in a small package, Ripley might just be your perfect match.
Ripley’s adoption fee is $1050 and if you are chosen as her forever home, she comes with her med, blanket, current prescription food, leash and harness. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccines and hw preventative and now is needing to find a forever home that loves her as much as her foster home does.
