Meet Missy! This pretty little lady has made her way to the available page and is searching for her forever home. Like Goldilocks, Missy is looking for a home that is not too hot and not too cold. She has a few special requirements, but she’s such a lover; we know that the “just right” home is out there! Read on to find out if you might be the perfect home for Missy!

Missy was surrendered to CFBR after her owner passed away. After her owner’s death, she bounced around a bit – first going to live with her owner’s caregiver and then, when that didn’t work out, to a friend who had a couple of Frenchies of their own. After the second home did not work out, Missy was surrendered to CFBR.

Her first home had two pit bulls that Missy didn’t get along with. Her second home had two Frenchies and it turned out Missy did not like them either! Both of the homes she tried on for size were not a great fit. In order to find that “just right” home, Missy will need to be placed as an only dog.

Missy is absolutely bursting with love. She doesn’t need another canine companion because she loves nothing more than to be with her people. Do you want a cuddle buddy to binge-watch the new season of Bridgerton with? Missy is your gal! Looking for someone to warm your bed? Missy volunteers! Missy is an extremely chill gal who is content to follow you around the house as you go about your day. Toys? Eh, as long as she has her person, Missy is happy. Missy also loves the car, so she’s ready to ride shotgun on any road-trips you might have planned.

Missy is potty trained and crate trained. At night or when her people need to head out for the day, Missy takes to her crate and waits for them to get home. (But we think she’d love to sleep in your bed with you. And on your couch! Or under your desk!)

Missy is leash trained and walks well on a leash. She does not currently have a fenced in yard and does her business during her walks. Missy loves routine and thrives when she knows what to expect. While Missy has not shown any leash reactivity when crossing paths with other dogs, her new family should be prepared to watch for signs of stress when encountering other dogs on walks.

Missy has not been tested with cats or other small animals. As a result, she will not be adopted out to a home with cats or other small critters.

We think Missy would do best in a quiet home with one or two people. While a fenced yard is not required, she sure would like a dog-free space of her own to explore. And of course, if you work from home, Missy would be your constant co-worker – she’d be a great help during snack breaks and is a great sounding board when you just need to vent!

If you work outside the home, that is okay too. But make sure you have a dog-walker lined up for that mid-day potty break, because 8 hours is too long for her to be crated.

Her adoption fee is $750 and comes with her current food, bed, blanket, leash and harness. She is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccines and given a clean bill of health.

If a velcro dog is what you’re searching for – look no further! Fill out an application and get ready to make some room on the couch. Missy’s bags are packed and she’s ready to settle down with her forever family!

Adoption Fee: $750
