Logan is an absolute beefcake with a heart just as big as his muscles. This handsome guy turned 5 years old on December 20 and weighs in at 30 pounds of pure, sturdy muscle—strong, solid and built like a little tank. Logan is a lovable but lively dude who knows how to balance playtime and cuddle time like a pro. He loves playing with balls and toys (and proudly carrying them around), but he’s just as happy snuggling up with his human or following them from room to room like a loyal shadow. He’s affectionate, engaged, and very people oriented.
When he plays, Logan can be playful with his mouth and does cobble, which is part of his affectionate play style. Because of this, he would do best in a home with children 12 and older who can respect his space and play style. Logan adores people and truly hasn’t met a stranger he doesn’t love. With other dogs, he may be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and does great once he’s comfortable.
He would thrive either as an only dog or in a home with other friendly dogs. He walks like a dream on a leash, but cold weather is not his thing—Logan would happily skip winter walks in favor of staying cozy indoors. Logan is about 90% potty trained. Like many dogs, he may need a few days to adjust to a new home, but once he settles into a consistent routine, he quickly gets back on track. While in the care of rescue, Logan was neutered and also had his nares and palate corrected, which has made a big difference for him.
He does best with a fear-free vet and needs to be sedated for blood draws, as medical settings can make him nervous. He also isn’t a fan of ear cleanings, so patience and gentle handling are important. At the end of the day, Logan is an absolute character with the best personality. He’s one of a kind, deeply affectionate and truly a very special boy who will make an incredible companion for the right home.
Logan’s adoption fee is $750- he is neutered, microchipped, comes with his bed, harness, leash, blanket, some of his favorite toys and some of his current food. He is also up to date with his vaccines, hw tested negative and current on his hw preventative. Also tested negative with his fecal for any parasites.
