male - young
34 lbs.
Status: adopted

Hello! My name is Lewis. I am sure I will be pleased to meet you as I am a very friendly Frenchie. I am a 4 year old French Bulldog boy, weighing in at a healthy 34 pounds. I was relinquished by my first owner but am doing increasing well with my foster family. I love my foster family and their two dogs, a male English Bulldog and a female French Bulldog.

They say I am a sweet natured, a bit silly and athletic dog. My foster mommy calls me a mountain goat, but trust me, I am just having fun being a dog. My foster parents have me learning to play with toys and other dogs, as this is new to me. I have yet to meet any dog or human I do not get along with. My foster parents are patient and allow me to grow at my own pace. They even found out that a walk, which I really enjoy doing, helps calms me. They say my future forever family needs to be committed to daily exercise, I am not a lazy Frenchie. Actually, one of my favorite things to do is hiking!

I love children and am very sweet and gentle to them but I can get overexcited and would do best with older kids. I prefer a calm, yet active household. I can be an only dog or with dog siblings as long as they are calm, as I can get overwhelmed by the energy.
Ok, need to go for a walk and take a nap, so thank you for listening. I do have on bad habit I need to share- around 7pm tp 9 pm- I like to bark pretty much and demand treats- my foster is working with me on this but because of this behavior- I probably wouldn’t do well with apartment life or condo or anywere that you have neighbors living above or below you. It is mostly on days my energy is addressed. My owner had me on prozac and the rescue has kept me on it as well- it does help me with my nervous energy.

xoxo
