This is Leonardo DiCaprio one of the Texarkana 23 puppies. Leo has been recently neutered, wormed and microchipped. He is now ready to settle down into a loving forever home.
Leo healed from his surgery quickly and is now a healthy and happy boy. He loves to play/wrestle with his three foster sisters but also enjoys his alone time to play with his toys or just sit and stare out the window. When not playing, Leo enjoys his naps whether solo or snuggled up with one of his humans or foster siblings.
Leo’s ideal family will continue to work on socialization with him, he really loves all humans and dogs and loves lots of attention. We are uncertain if cats are okay because he hasn’t been exposed to any, but it’s possible that he would be fine if introduced slowly.
Leo is very curious and can sometimes show his mischievous side but responds well to positive correction. He’s also extremely smart and responds very well to positive training/reinforcement with treats, positive words and love. His maximum time in a crate during the day is 3-4 hours.
His potty training is coming along well and he let his foster parents know he needs to go outside by standing by the door. He is doing well on leash training also but still needs some work.
Leo is a sweet and fun-loving boy that will add so much joy to the perfect family.
As with all the Texarkana23 puppies, Leo ad a rough, scary start in life, but has put all of this behind him and is ready for his forever family to welcome him home.
