Honey Bun

female - young
Status: adopted

Meet Honey Bun, aka Honey! My owners bought me from a breeder in Mexico and I haven’t been the healthiest Frenchie till this rescue took me in and helped me with my tummy issues. I had a really bad case of giardia that wouldn’t go away and I kept getting their other frenchies sick. My passport from Mexico states I was born on April2nd of 2022..
Things about me: I love waking with the birds! I sing the songs of my people to let the humans knows it’s time to pee! I have my doctorate in Snuggling. Seriously. I’m a pro. No lap is safe with me around. But if you move, or get up, I will too. I LOVE having dog friends of all sizes to play with. It’s the best. I may be ok with cats, but I’ve never met one. So it’s hard to say if we can be friends or not. As I said, I love humans, but adults are the best. Kids are ok, but I like other dogs better. I’m 90% house trained.
My ideal forever home would be with a family where someone works from home and can let me out consistently. I LOVE having a fenced in yard to run around in. I’m also a dream to walk on a leash! I am on a special diet ofBiome prescription food that I will need to remain on for the rest of my life. My owners surrendered me to this wonderful rescue because I constantly had bloody diarrhea but this new food seems to give me good poops now-so whomever adopts me needs to know that I need to stay on this strict diet and no treats or table scraps so I stay healthy like I am now. I can’t have extra snacks, and NO PEOPLE FOOD, otherwise my bad poops start all over.
I’m learning commands, and how to be a good dog.  It’s a work in progress. I have a tendency to not know when to stop drinking water, so my forever family needs to make sure I don’t  drink excessively until my belly is SO FULL.. that I throw up. If you think you’d be a good forever family, hit me up! I’m waiting for you.

Honey is up to date on her vaccines- microchipped- current on her heartworm preventative and comes with a bed, harness, leash and some of her current food. Her adoption fee is  $1100. If you think you are up for an energetic frenchie girl and can be consistent with her house training and strict diet- then we look forward to getting an application from you!
