Fig

female - adult
22 lbs.
Status: adopted

Figgy is an owner surrender due to changes in her owners life and wanted Figs to find a home they could no longer provide for her. She is 5 years old and on the smaller end wighing in around 22 lbs. Figgy is a good girl, loves all people she meets, loves car rides- is potty trained- she will sit by the door when she needs to potty. She does have allergies, but seems to be doing well with the Cytopoint shot that she gets as needed for seasonal allergies. We do clean Figs ears once a week since she is prone to ear infections, she actually loves getting her ears cleaned & rubbed!

She loves going on her walks and is an early morning pooper, which works out good for us since she barks and shakes when she sees other dogs on our walks. Figs ideal forever home would have a secured fenced in yard so she would not have to encounter other dogs on her walks and keep your yard free of squirrels and bunnies.Figgy craves all the petting she can get and will snuggle up anytime she can. She is crate trained and will go in her crate or bed for naps and at night. Both of those places are her safe spot. Fig is startled by loud noises but her crate is her safe spot and she loves having it available with the door open when you are home. She gets very nervous around small children or people on bicycles or motorcycles and will bark and lunge at these things-hence the reason she would love a nice fenced yard.

Figs ideal forever home is a retired couple or a couple that have no children nor plan on having children nor has children visitors. She would love to curl up next to you and is willing to watch any tv shows you want to with her next to you. Figgy would thrive in a home with a yard for exploring and a lap ready for her to sit in. Could that be you? If so, please complete our online application to see if we think you are her ideal forever home-she has a lot of love to offer the right home. She is spayed- up to date on her vetting- micro chipped- comes with her leash, harness, bed and her current food. Her adoption fee is $700
