Ethel

female - young
Status: adopted

Ethel is an adorable 2 year old pug available for adoption. Although rescued from a puppy mill, one would never guess because Ethel will come to you with open paws for snuggle time!

The current fosters are working with Ethel to move her from peeing on the pad to outside; but when taken for walks after meals or intermittently during the day, going #2 isn’t an issue. Her potty habits would best be addressed by having easy access to the outside or a fenced in yard.

As many puppy mill mama’s have never had leash training, Ethel has really taken to walkies either solo or with her foster sister (French bulldog). Sometimes the latter can be a bit of a challenge as each pup has their curiosities; however, never too daunting for one individual or family to manage.

The only health issue which Ethel has is that she’ll need to receive eye drops 2x/day for the rest of her life. Eye issues are not uncommon for the Frenchie and Pug breeds so this is not unusual; however, the individual or family who welcomes Ethel needs to be prepared for this care. Her eye drops will cost $63 every 6 weeks and she needs to stay on those drops the rest of her life to prevent her from loosing her sight in her eyes.

In her short time with her new fosters, Ethel has been warm and kind to humans, children and other dogs. The family or person who adopts Ethel will know that they are loved and cherished, so it’s only fair that the right candidate for her will provide love in return and have patience to correct some behaviors Ethel wasn’t fortunate to be taught as a puppy.

Her adoption fee is $750 and includes her being spayed- micro chipped- shots current- fecal and heart worm negative and current on her vaccines- her bed -harness -leash and collar and some of her current food.
