Thanks for stopping by my page. My name is Ellie a.k.a. Princess Ellie, jellybean, little lady or as my foster dad likes to call me, daddy’s little princess. I will be 3 years old April 8th!
Not only am I beautiful, I am sweet, calm, patient, and as my foster mom likes to say, I have the manners of a true princess. I enjoy spending time playing with my squeaky toys on my thrown ( bed ), being driven around in my carriage ( car rides ), taking walks and going out on little adventures. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people, and I always end up being the bell of the ball.
As you can see, my back legs like to do their own thing. When I was a year old, I was diagnosed with IVDD and had surgery. It has left me paralyzed from the waist down, so I’ve got this snazzy carriage (cart) to help me get around. Don’t be fooled, I can move just as fast as other dogs my size. Some people look at me and all they see is a disability. But don’t be fooled the people who know me see my abilities. My ability to light up a room, to still easily get around, to love deeply, to play with other dogs and to live a normal life. My foster parents have me on a great routine and will gladly show you the ropes.
I’m a very good listener, I’m easy to take care of, I communicate my needs but most importantly, I’m patient with you because I know you are trying to help me. My ideal castle (home) would be with someone who works from home or can come home to check on me every 4 hours. This way I can go potty and stretch my legs. Bonus, I would be the perfect dog to take to work. My foster mom enjoys taking me to the nursing home to spread my love and I just thrive in that environment. I would be ok with one other dog who is calm but please no young children.
Just like the little princess I am. I come with all of my toys, fancy bloomers, blankets, bed, and cart.
