Elizabeth

female - young
Status: adopted

Hi, my name is Elizabeth but my foster family has been calling me Lizzy. I am a sweet 2-year-old spayed girl that is very healthy with just the right amount of spicyness! I was surrendered to CFBR with my mate and our 5 pups by a loving family that were dealing with medical emergencies with the father of their family.. They made the difficult decision to surrender to our rescue so that we could find them the ideal forever homes. I was a good mama and now I’m ready to get on with my life.

I am very shy until I feel more comfortable. I have played really well with my foster’s 5-yr-old grandson but, he is very shy too so we found a mutual respect for each other in that. I’m very uncertain around men. My current foster dad has tried to snuggle with me but, I try to overcompensate my fear with trying to play. I start barking and jumping like a kangaroo. I would need my new family to be very patient with me as I acclimate to new people and a new environment. I tend to startle easily and will bark if I’m surprised.

Speaking of play, I love it! I play with my foster brother, and he has helped to teach me that sometimes I’m a lot of energy! I will chase balls but I’m a Frenchie, not a retriever so you will have to get it yourself if you want it back. As much as I love play, I’m equally fond of snuggling and snoozing.

I am a very good jumper. I can jump over baby gates with little effort. If you need to step out, it’s safest to crate me. I love to run and explore in the yard. I’m still learning about taking walks and that they are for going potty as much as they are for

exercise. I take stairs like a champ but, I get excited as I approach the bottom and I like to believe that I can fly.

Since I lived a very sheltered life in my original home, everything is new to me. I love to explore but I usually won’t stray to far from my people. I like to know where you are and will almost always follow you wherever you go. I would really benefit from some good training. I redirect well but, I can get myself into trouble at times. I have been caught chewing on my foster brother’s ramp for the sofa. I will also climb and jump if left unattended and there is food around.

My foster mom says that anyone that adopts me will be filling their home with an abundance of love and laughter. I am a good girl and I’m eager to please.

If you think you are the ideal forever home for me- please fill out an application. My adoption fee is $1000- I am spayed, up to date on all of my vetting, had my nare surgery done, microchipped, come with my bed, leash, harness and my current food.
