Hi! I’m Milo, a 5 year old Frenchie that’s FULL of spunk and looking for my FUREVER home. I’ve been called “a complete lover boy”… guilty as charged. I love giving kisses and snuggling with my toys to sleep. Milo’s owners surrendered him because they couldn’t afford the vetting he needed and their vets didn’t seem to be able to help get him better. Also they moved from a house to an apartment and he missed having a yard. Their work hours became longer too and they felt he wasn’t getting all that he needed and wanted only the best for him and surrendered him to our rescue.

Since coming into our care- he was neutered and all caught up on all of his vetting and is a healthy boy now.

Milo can be a typical mouthy frenchie when playing so little children would not be an ideal match for him-as they may think he is trying to bite them.

Ever since my family surrendered me, I have pretty bad separation anxiety. In my doggy dream home, I would be the only dog and my new family would either work from home or have the option to bring me to work as I cry and get scared when I am left alone. I have what my mom calls “resource guarding” and get very protective if another dog gets near my mom or my toys, because of this I am not suited for a home with another dog or cat.

Be forewarned that I’m a little clingy (in the cutest way possible). If you go to the bathroom, I’ll most likely be looking for an invite to join. And if I’m left alone, you may hear some pretty loud crying because I miss you so much. I should also mention that if by adopting me, you’re agreeing to also adopt my stuffed monkey (pictured below). He has been by my side since I moved in with my foster mama. When I get anxious or am ready to take a nap, it’s likely that you’ll find me cuddling with my monkey buddy.

It does take me a second to get used to new people but don’t fret, I will get there. I do not mind other fur friends while on walks and am nice to them on leash but if I sense alpha in them I have to show them I am alpha too. I guess it’s a guy thing.

If you’re looking for a new side kick and have the perfect home for me then please apply!
