Bruno has two speeds- a thousand miles per hour and nap time. Because of his high energy- we are looking for a frenchie who would do well with his high energy. A dog that is just as hyper as him would not be a good match but a couch potato would not be ideal either.

Bruno is 2 yrs old, he still has the energy and curiosity of a puppy. He LOVES to play and wrestle with his foster Frenchie brother (3 yrs old) and is always excited to meet and play with the dogs and people he meets in the neighborhood.

Prior to arriving with his foster family, Bruno had his palate surgery, got micro chipped, and was neutered. He has recovered well from his surgeries and wakes up each day ready to play, he also had all of his shots brought up to date- tested negative for heart worm and any parasites in his stools.

Bruno is house-trained and crate-trained. He did have a few accidents during his first couple of days with his foster parents, but quickly learned to sit by the door or “paw his bells” that hang from the door handle when he needs to go outside. He is a quick learner with consistent training!

He doesn’t mind sleeping in his crate, but he LOVES sleeping with his foster parents. Whether he is napping in their lap or sleeping at their feet, he is never too far from his foster family. During the day if his foster parents need to leave, he has had no incidents with either napping in his crate or hanging out with his foster-brother. His foster mom does work from home so he is use to someone being around most of the time.

Sometimes his exuberance isn’t well-received by other dogs, so his introductions with new dogs should be carefully monitored by his people. He also gets a big burst of energy to play with his foster-brother every evening that can last for a couple of hours, but always is ready for bed by 10 PM and not-so-eloquently “plops” on the ground.

Bruno enjoys his walks in the neighborhood, but after 10/15 minutes he is usually ready to get back home. When it is hot outside, his breathing gets heavy so his walks should be short. And if he is tired, he will let you know by laying down in the cool grass.

Bruno is simply adorable. He is cuddly and lovable. He craves attention and to just be around people. He is a funny pup and will hide his bones in different places around the house to come back to later. While his foster mom is cooking dinner, he is by her side (if he isn’t playing) and will lay at her feet. He can be a little nippy, but easily corrected by placing a bone or toy in front of him. Because he came be a little more mouthy than a typical frenchie- no children under the age of 8 will be considered in his adopting home.

Bruno’s ideal forever home will be very patient and accommodating with his playfulness, especially at night. He does very well with most dogs, but he would be OK being the only pup in the household, too.

Bruno’s adoption fee is $850 -he is micro chipped- had palate surgery- shots are current- fecal and heart worm negative- comes with his bed- harness- leash and some of his current food.
