Hope is doing wonderful with her therapy at home and at Integrative Pet Care. She goes to therapy at Integrative Pet Care two times a week and experiences underwater treadmill therapy, accupuncture and land therapy with two therapists working with her on those two days. She also gets E-Stim at home every day for an hour. She has actually taken a few steps in her wheelchair at therapy! Her muscles are developing and getting stronger, she is bending her legs more and can now sit like a normal French Bulldog for more than an hour on her own without support of any kind. She will be getting some custom made ortho braces made for her to help her not hyper extend her ankles that we are still working on strengthening and developing from dragging her little body around for the 4 months prior to coming into rescue. Rescue needs to raise $450 for these braces to help her get stronger and possibly walking.
