Liberty 12/2011

Hi my name is Liberty, they call me Libby for short. Speaking of short I am on the petite size in height, width I can't say the same but I am working on getting my waistline back. I am at least five years old maybe older, but who's counting?!? What I do count is how many dog beds I have access to and who is going to pet me, kids, adults it is all the same to me I just luv luv luv people. I could take or leave other dogs, mainly leave as I prefer not to share beds or quality time with my people family. I also treasure my beauty sleep and it must be paying off because they say I am super cute. This means sleeping in and taking long long naps throughout the day between my leisurely stop and smell the world walks and being pet.

I am really good about baths, nail trims and like to make sure my ears are clean to hear you better. When I am awake I need to be let out often to make sure I am really clear on my housetraining. As long as you can do this I will remain accident free. I just had surgery to fix a hernia and be spayed which also means I am up to date on my shots, and according to the vet and my bloodwork I am in good shape.

Libby will play with the right dog- one that is well behaved and laid back and will respect her boundaries. She would be fine in a home without another dog too though. She lived her whole life in a puppy mill making money for them- living her whole life in a cage- before coming into rescue- she never walked on grass- sat in a warm lap to be loved on, rode in a car, went for a walk, got kisses or love. She really appreciates all the newness in her life- especially love and big soft dog beds- she thinks this is nirvana. Libby would do best with someone who is not gone long hours- she is making up for the time she was ignored in the puppy mill and would prefer someone who works from home or a couple with opposite work hours. She is great with children that are kind and loving to her.

If you think you are the right home for Libby- please fill out a online application. Libbys' adoption fee is $250-which includes microchipped, shots up to date, spayed, some of the food she is eating, her bed, leash and collar and her winter coat. Could you be Libby's forever home? When she came to us- she had no name and no birthdate- as all the puppy mill worries about is these dogs making money for them with their puppies- we KNOW Libby deserves so much better than a life that she came from!

Hank 9/2011

Hank is one handsome frenchie boy who is looking for a home that will give him lots of love. He is starting to stand a little and using his rear legs from time to time and may walk one day but he loves his wheelchair too. Hank came into rescue because his owner could not afford therapy for him- Hank woke up one day and was unable to walk. He has gone for 4 months of therapy and it is possible that he may be able to walk again one day if his new owner(s) continue to take him to therapy. He has his own custom made wheelchair now and gets around really well in it and likes to go for short walks outside or roam around the yard in his wheelchair. He cannot be in his wheelchair all the time and comes with a large plastic pen that he stays in when he is not in his wheelchair. He is quite the character and is really a handsome boy- he does well with frenchie girls and with laid back frenchie males. Hanks new owners must be patient and have a big heart to adopt and work with Hank if they hope for him to walk one day again. If you think your heart is big enough to adopt a handicapped frenchie- please  complete an application online. His adoption fee is $250 and includes his custom wheelchair, collar and leash, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, negative heartworm and fecal test. bed and special pen area. Really make sure you are up for a handicapped dog before applying for Hank- he has lots of love to give in return. Read More about this Pet
